The new independent veterinary practice in Oxford, run by old friends

We’ve been providing kind, compassionate, independent veterinary care in Oxford since 2006 – and we’re proud of the difference we’ve made for local pets and their people.

Today, we welcome dogs, cats and all small pets to our recently refurbished practice in Marston, offering the same thoughtful, high-quality care we’ve always been known for – with a calm, friendly approach tailored to every patient’s needs.

We’re proud to be independently owned and locally run by Mel Weatherall and her family, and we’re passionate about what that means for our patients, our clients and our team.

Decisions are made here by the people you know and trust, giving us the freedom to focus on what matters most – the right care for your pet.

A practice built on care – and growing with Oxford

Our first practice opened in Botley in 2006 followed by our Marston branch in 2017. In 2025 we expanded our Marston services to welcome dogs and other small animals bringing the same attention to detail and patient-focused approach to even more pets across Oxford.

We’re delighted to have Dr Shivana Seemungal-Dass leading our team. Many local clients already know Shivana well and we’re proud to have her expertise at the heart of our practice. She’s not only a fantastic vet but also a highly skilled surgeon helping us expand the range of services we can offer in-house.

For cat owners, our sister practice in Botley, Oxford Cat Clinic, continues to provide a dedicated cat-only environment including purpose-designed spaces to keep visits calm and low-stress for feline patients.

And if any of our patients need additional support we work closely together to ensure continuity of care.

Most importantly as an independent locally-owned practice we’re proud to serve our community by putting pets owners and our team at the heart of everything we do – because we believe the best care happens when everyone is supported respected and listened to.
